Very good but not perfect in every way.

Although it is the top model among dynamic driver earphones, the 800 series can't beat the HD600 in terms of naturalness and tonality like almost all other earphones in the world :) 800 series does not have mid and vocal sounds. Vocals feel thin and bodyless compared to the 600. The main reason for this is that the headphones stay in the background in this frequency range in order to play extremely detailed and have a very analytical sound structure. Highlights and elevations are also present in the upper regions compared to a truly reference model like the HD600. No one can say a word about the technical performance of the headset, it's a respectable headset for sure! With a good DAC and a powerful amplifier, no headphones can satisfy you once you hear the sound resolution you will get in this headphone... Speaking of amps, drivers really want a solid amplification to reach their full potential. If you think of feeding the headphone as only getting loud sound, you are very wrong, but to move the huge dynamic drivers in this headphone and to make it produce strong low frequencies, a very well-controlled and powerful amplifier is needed, in short, getting loud sound does not mean your amp can drive this headphone, drawing attention to this issue. I wanted. While the breadth of the soundstage is very good for a headphone, of course it doesn't come close to the soundstage that a good pair of speakers like KEF's models can offer at relatively affordable prices. I don't know what your expectation is in this respect, but I must state that it does not go beyond the laws of physics and has a good scene only as a headphone, it just makes the feeling that the source of the sound is somewhere outside your head better compared to other headphones. After all, the point where the sound is produced is 2 cm away from your ear... Depth perception is of course better compared to many other earphones. There is no need to write the micro details revealed in the recording at length, let me summarize as follows; This headphone showed me recording errors and background noises that I had never noticed in the music I listened to for years. You can literally imagine the body movements of the artist while playing the instrument or saying something, the headset has a transparency that does not allow you to miss any details. The situation is better with the HD800, the 800S has a slightly more bodily midbass sound and a warmer sound presentation that can be considered more balanced at the higher frequencies, not as brutal as the HD800. It's not hard to guess why some audiophiles still prefer the HD800 to the 800S. But... As I said when it comes to natural sound and the right tonality, the HD600 is at the top of a headphone in this respect. And arguably better than the 800 series. We are talking about a headphone that has been produced for 23 years since 1997, without touching the driver, an absolutely irreplaceable masterpiece! A masterpiece that deserves all the praises made about it. Sennheiser is a brand that has already proven itself with its durability that you can use for a lifetime. We are talking about durability that you can acquire at a young age and inherit from your grandchildren. Also, in terms of comfort, the structure of the 600 series is much more comfortable for me compared to the 800 series, which is a factor that can vary from person to person. After all, there are few earphones that are so light and comfortable, yet so durable and long-lasting. If you prefer technical performance to have the music you listen to penetrate your soul, if you are looking for natural and realistic vocal sounds, your choice should be the HD600. In terms of technical performance, of course, it is far from the 800 series, but for pure musical enjoyment, I prefer HD600. The end-game for me is HD600 :) For those who want to see how high the resolution and stage width performance can go, let's take the 800 side :) No matter what model, Sennheiser quality is different...

I've been dreaming for a long time. I finally got it. I was already using sennhesier's sub-models, but this asshole is a whole different world. It is indisputable in terms of stage width, sound balance and material quality. The only downside for me is that the cable is unnecessarily long.
