First of all, I tried and bought this product from the Akasya experience store, and I saw Comply Foam, which I will talk about in the following parts, there.
Although it is not the best headphone I have tried so far, it is one of the best in-ear headphones for its price. But it's definitely the most comfortable in-ear headphones I've ever worn.
Let's start with the bad first. The ear tips that came in the box were not satisfactory for me. The silicone ones are very thin, they never stop sound and depending on the movement, they can cause the bass to leak. Moreover, when I tried to remove the attached medium-sized silicone tip, it was torn. As for the sponge ends, it was fine, but not for me. They're too short for my ears. The next day, when I went back because the ear tip was torn, I saw the Comply Foam sponge tips. I would recommend these tips to anyone who is going to buy this headset. Although it is a bit more complicated to put on the ear than normal silicone tips, it is extremely comfortable and makes you forget its existence after 10 minutes or so. It has incredible noise canceling, even better than Airpods Pro's active noise canceling. I don't know how long they last, but according to their comments, they need to be changed every 3-4 months. They're a tad expensive. When I bought it, it was around 370TL, but everyone who will buy this headset should definitely buy these tips. Due to the noise reduction, you can focus entirely on the music, not the external sound, especially if you are in a noisy environment.
I don't like the cable of the headset either. Although not one of the worst cables I've seen, it's cheap compared to this headset. First of all, it has a smell that I don't like and has a slightly sticky texture. Because of this, all the friction can be heard. Even the cable that comes out of the box of a 6 times cheaper KZ headset gives a better quality feel. The good thing is, since the cable can be removed, you can optionally attach different mmcx cables. I haven't tried it, but there are people who use a 4.4MM balanced cable with this headphone because the cable broke.
Let's get to the structure, enough bad thoughts. The headset is extremely small and has a body made of the best plastic I've ever seen. When you look at it, there are yellow red white dots on it. It's like you're looking into space. If you don't use it badly, it has a lifetime structure. Although it is not made of stronger Zirconium or aluminum like its older brothers IE 600 and 900, I have never seen a higher quality and durable plastic in my life. Again, the most comfortable earphones I've ever used. Due to its small structure, you can easily lie on it when attached. And after I put on the Comply Foam tips, I couldn't drop it from my ear even though I shook my head enough to cause a brain injury and pulled the cable. Headphones have now become part of my ear.
Let's get to the sound quality. One of the best sound quality headphones you can get at this price. The sound is as natural as I expected, the clarity and tonality are top-notch. The bass is pretty balanced. It can easily respond to any setting, whether you EQ and root it or lower it. Although the stage width cannot compete with an on-ear, especially an open-back headset, it is legendary for an in-ear headset. The separation of vocals is exciting. It's good enough to compete with very high-end IN-EAR headphones, even though it's entry-level. If IE 8, 80 etc. If you've used Sennheiser's old entry-level headphones, I definitely recommend switching to this one. It uses the technologies that Sennheiser uses in its high-end headphones such as the IE 900, and it is much more comfortable and extremely good in sound quality. Here, I am saying the inside of the ear by pressing, because in-ear headphones and on-ear headphones are incomparably different categories.
Although you can use the headset without an extra DAC thanks to its low impedance, I definitely recommend using it with an extra DAC. Because that's how you see the actual performance of the headset. In addition, I recommend you to use a product such as Fiio KA1 or KA3 as an entry level, Fiio Q3 or Q5s as an intermediate level, Chord Mojo 2 as an upper level, or Astell&Kern SP2000 that you can try in the store. They can reach a level that can make you deaf in terms of output power, and they can give a much cleaner sound than the phone or computer's own headphone jack.
In summary, Sennheiser IE 300 is one of the best and ideal music listening headphones in terms of sound quality that can be bought at this price. Also, thank you very much to the acacia store for the experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful people. They helped me with whatever I asked for and allowed me to try almost all the headphones and amps for quite some time. I would definitely recommend you to go and try it out. Moreover, I am a difficult person in these matters. I would like to thank the employees of Akasya hifilife for putting up with me and contributing to me. There are 100 places to sit in the store, go and try all the products, I recommend the store experience until the end.
