The digital cable's patented design achieves the highest brilliance with 217 separate fiber optic conductors made of special polymer optical fibers, allowing data to be transmitted at speeds of up to 125 Mbps (megabits per second). Standard optical TOSLINK interfaces only specify transmission speeds of 12.8 Mbps for the transfer of multi-channel audio formats using optical TOSLINK interfaces. This cable is pre-assembled with a specially configured TOSLINK "XXL Series 80 CO" plug.
