Performance Mode for Ultra High-Resolution Audio
The SR25 supports native DSD256 and 32bit / 384kHz audio for the first time in an Astell & Kern entry-level product, with performance that cannot be compared to other competitors' products in the same category.
Smaller than other players, the SR25 has been developed to achieve stable, ultra-high definition sound . We have created a new Performance Mode that automatically optimizes and adjusts the memory mode in the system based on the size of the data being played on the SR25.
As the resolution of the audio source increases, a large amount of data needs to be processed quickly. If this situation is not optimized, sound degradation may occur. To avoid this, the SR25 uses the new Performance Mode to tune and optimize the system to produce near-perfect sound quality when playing hi-res audio .

Excellent Circuit Design for the Highest Sound Quality
Smooth playback of digital audio at DSD256 and 32bit/384kHz requires a high-performance processor and high memory speed. An appropriate audio path is also necessary for high-speed signal processing.
Optimizing the length of the audio path is a crucial part, as if not done properly, it can cause a delay in sound between signals.
With the SR25 , the Astell & Kern team developed a completely different PCB design from the current SR15 to handle high speed signals when needed, resulting in the same audio path lengths and allowing for super high resolution audio without any lag.
In addition, newly designed audio circuits and power circuits have been implemented for distortion-free signal transmission and noise cancellation on each channel.
As a result, the Ultra-Low Noise Filter in SR25 allows you to experience Astell & Kern's flawless sound with Zero Noise.
